Violet Bobbie Matory was a girl who disappeared in 1977.
Case[]
Violet disappeared alongside her sister Ivy Matory, her half-sister Yolanda Williams, and family friend Sir-Kristopher Marshall when their house was set on fire early that morning. The girls' mother was found strangled to death, but no children were home.
Yolanda's father is considered the main suspect in their disappearances and presumed murders. He was charged with their murders twice, but the jury deadlocked both times. The murder charges were ultimately dismissed, and he is now deceased.
Ivy's remains were found in 2014 and identified in 2019. The other three children have not been recovered.
