Vinyette Trudy Teague was a baby who vanished in 1983. Authorities believed that she may have been abducted by someone outside of her family.
Case[]
Vinyette vanished from the seventh floor gallery of the apartment building she lived in at Robert Taylor Homes in Chicago, Illinois on June 25, 1983. Her parent had left her in the care of either family and friends or her grandmother while they went to watch a drive-in movie that night. At the time of Vinyette's disappearance there were approximately 50 people in the hall including relatives of Vinyette and some of her neighbours.
Vinyette's grandmother left to take a phone call in the apartment at approximately 9:30 p.m. When she returned a few minutes later Vinyette was gone. Despite the large number of people in the gallery and the fact that there were only three exits, no one saw anything suspicious. Authorities where notified of her disappearance when her parents returned home at 3:00 a.m. Vinyette's case remains unsolved.
