Unique RaQuel-Leona Harris was a young woman who was last seen in her apartment on October 9th 2010 in Washington D.C.
In June 2023, a man was convicted of second-degree murder in Unique's case and sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Unique moved into her new apartment 5 weeks earlier. She recently witnessed a murder outside her apartment several days before her disappearance. She lived in a bad part of Washington D.C, where the crime rate was high. Her apartment door had little safety features and anyone could enter the lobby. Additionally, she left her glasses folded neatly on her pillow, but she is reportedly extremely nearsighted and couldn't see very well without them. She left two sons behind; aged 3 and 5. She reportedly got a phone call at around 3 am and wasn't seen after that.
