Tiahease Tiawanna Jackson was a girl who was last seen in 1983.

Child murderer and suspected serial killer Andre Rand is the prime suspect in her case. He was convicted for the 1981 kidnapping of Holly Hughes and is also a suspect in the disappearances of Alice Pereira, Ethel Atwell and Hank Gafforio.

Case[]

Tiahease was last seen leaving the Mariner's Harbor Hotel in Staten Island, New York at 1:30 p.m. While her mother was sleeping, another resident of the hotel sent her out to purchase chicken wings from the Crown Supermarket in the 900 block of Richmond Avenue. She never returned to the hotel and has not been seen since.

When her mother woke up around 4:30 p.m., she discovered that Tiahease had been missing for three hours and she immediately called the police. Tiahease lived at the hotel with her mother and three siblings after getting burned out of their apartment with the plans of relocating to the southern United States. She would frequently go on errands in the city, sometimes with her sister or a friend and sometimes by herself

Tiahease's mother describes her as being streetwise and wary of strangers, having been warned about predators. Andre Rand was suspected in her disappearance and her mother told investigators about a man fitting Rand's description often hanging out in a van in a parking lot near the motel.

Although Rand was charged with a murdering a 12-year-old girl with Down syndrome from New York in 1987, he has not been charged in connection with Tiahease's disappearance and her case remains unsolved.
