Thomas Estevis was a toddler who disappeared from Laredo, Texas. His photo is shown age progressed to 16 years.

Case[]

When Thomas was born, he tested positive for cocaine and was immediately taken from his parents, Robert Estevis and Maria Alejandrina Valverde, and placed in foster care. His six older siblings had been taken from the home prior to his birth. In December 2007, all seven children were returned to Robert and Maria, as they had met the requirements set by CPS.

Robert was arrested for driving while intoxicated in November 2010. One child was present in the vehicle; the other children were found at home with Maria, who was also intoxicated. The six children were taken by CPS, but Thomas was nowhere to be found. His parents alleged he was with a relative in Georgia. The next month, when CPS became the temporary managing conservator for Thomas and his siblings, they again tried to locate him. They could not find any evidence to substantiate the claim that he was in Georgia.

Thomas was not reported missing until November 2011. His mother had died in January of that year, and CPS realized he had never been in their care. The exact date Thomas disappeared is unknown.
