Teresa Armanda Alfonso was a preteen who went missing alongside her friend, Cindy Gooding. They were last seen at a movie theater and had planned to hitchhike to a party.

Teresa was a student at Stanley Switlik Elementary School in 1974 and lived with her family on 92nd street in Marathon, Florida. She had no history of running away and her family described her as being a very timid, shy young girl who had no problems at home and wouldn't have gone anywhere with someone she didn't know.

On August 20, 1974, Teresa was dropped off at the now-defunct Marathon Movie Theater with her friend, Cynthia Gooding. The two of them planned to hitchhike to a party that day; however, neither of the girls have been seen since.
