Tara Lossett Cossey was a young girl who disappeared on June 6, 1979. Foul play is suspected in her case.

Tara was last seen in San Pablo, California on June 6, 1979. She had gone to purchase a bag of sugar for her mother but she did not return her family's residence and has not been heard from again.
It is possible her disappearance is related to those of Michaela Garecht, Amber Swartz-Garcia, Nikki Campbell and Ilene Misheloff.
