Tammy Sue Rothganger was a teenager who disappeared in 1984 under suspicious circumstances.
In 2018, a man was convicted of her murder. Despite being significantly older than her, the two were allegedly in a relationship, and he was sexually abusive towards Tammy. He allegedly raped and strangled her to death, before placing her body in a barrel and burying it. He lead authorities to where he allegedly buried her body, but nothing was found.
