Tabitha "Tabby" D. Brewer was a teenage girl who disappeared from Shawnee, Kansas, along with her boyfriend. His body was found months afterwards, but Tabby has never been found.
Case[]
Tabitha and her boyfriend, Nicholas Travis, visited her father's home on April 27, 1998. Her father claims he dropped Tabby and Nicholas off at a convenience store around midnight, but they never returned. Tabby and Nicholas's belongings were later found in a dumpster in Kansas City, Missouri.
In August 1998, Nicholas' body was found in a shallow grave in Kansas City, Missouri, near the dumpster where their belongings were found.
A man named Brandon Howell was charged with their murders. Tabby had won a $40,000 settlement, and Howell made plans to abduct and kill her to get the money. He has not been convicted of the murders yet, but authorities are building a case against him. He has been convicted of many other violent crimes.
