Steven Allan Mencer was a young man who went missing on March 19, 2020.

At the time of his disappearance, Steven was a crew member aboard the F/V Alaska Mist.
On March 19, 2020, Steven was seen at sea aboard the vessel, approximately 45 minutes before crew muster. At around 8:25am after failing to arrive at a crew check-up, Steven was reported missing.
An extensive search was conducted by the Coast Guard along with the rest of the crew of the F/V Alaska Mist, under the assumption that he fell overboard. The search was unsuccessful in locating him and was later suspended at 8:20pm.
