Steven Lewis "Steve" Arrowood was a man who disappeared from Gastonia, North Carolina. His car was found abandoned at the Fern Forest Apartments.
Case[]
On March 9, 1975, Steven left the home he lived at with his parents, leaving behind a note that didn't indicate where he was heading. He withdrew $815 that day and supposedly headed to Dallas, Texas, to see a married woman he was sleeping with. Her husband allegedly caught them together, and Steven returned home on March 31.
On April 4, Steven's friends saw him and said he believed the woman's husband was following him. They parted with him at 10:30 p.m. His vehicle was found abandoned just hours later, with his belongings left inside and his underwear dumped on the floor near the car.
