Shemaeah Nicole Gunnel was a child who went missing in 1989. Her mother was found murdered at their home and her sister was later found dead in Mexico; they had both been beaten to death.
Her mother's boyfriend, Alvie Kiles, was convicted of all three murders, despite Shemaeah's body having never been found. He was sentenced to death for the murder of Shemaeah's mother and two additional life sentences for killing Shemaeah and her sister, and he is currently awaiting execution. Gunnel's latest age progression depicts her at 21.
