Setina Princess Weddles was an infant who went missing in 2016. She was not reported missing until 2018.
Case[]
Setina and her twin brother Ren were born on April 7, 2016 to Aaron Weddles and Princess Canez-Walker. When they were born, a nurse alerted CPS that their parents were not fit to care for them, but no further action was taken.
On January 4, 2018, the twins and their parents were reported missing, as well as the couple's three older children. Several days later, the parents and older children were found living in a van in 'deplorable' condition, but there was no sign of the twins. Weddles and Canez-Walker were both arrested on a variety of charges, including child endangerment.
When asked about the location of the twins, Weddles said "do your jobs, that’s what you’re getting paid for," and Canez-Walker said they may have been kidnapped but provided no further information. However, Weddles later said that the last time he saw Ren was in May 13, 2016, when he was five weeks old. That night Weddles was critically injured during a shootout, having been shot in the neck. He claimed that he may have accidentally killed Ren during the shootout, or he was killed by the same man who shot him. Canez-Walker allegedly told the same story to one of her cousins, and she also said that she put Ren's body in a freezer after he died. When questioned, she retracted her statement, saying Ren was in the hospital. The last confirmed sighting of Setina was a few months later, and she is believed to have gone missing in August 2016. The twins' parents have been charged with wilful injury to a child with possible injury or death in Ren's case.
