Renate Bundschuh was a woman who went missing from Bad Reichenhall, Germany on July 24, 2020.
Case[]
Renate's backpack
Renate lived in Munich and was married. She was a passionate swimmer and hiker. For this reason, she had been vacationing alone in Bad Reichenhall since July 19, 2020, to go on hiking tours. When her husband wanted to pick her up from the hotel on July 25, 2020, she was not to be found. He immediately reported her missing.
Investigators found an entry in a summit book on the Pflasterbachhorn that was most likely left by Renate around noon or in the afternoon. It is assumed that something must have happened to her between Predigtstuhl and Thumsee, in an alpine area that is difficult to access. However, search measures in this area remained without results.
