Randy Doyle Parscale Jr. was a preteen who was last seen hiking in Peppersauce Canyon in the Santa Catalina mountains near Oracle, Arizona on April 7, 1979. Randy's grandfather took a rest in the shade while Randy, his step brother and his uncle continued up the trail they were on. At some point Randy ran ahead while the where traveling up a hill and disappeared around a bend.
For nearly a week after Randy's disappearance hundreds of searchers scoured the area with the aid of scent tracking dogs and a helicopter. While investigators are unsure what happened to him, it is possible he may have become lost or fallen into a mine shaft.
His latest age progression depicts him at 52.
