Randi Jane Mebruer was a young woman who was presumably abducted from her home in 1998.
In 2004, DNA collected from the crime scene was connected to serial killer Derrick Todd Lee. Lee, who was already serving a life sentence for two other murders, was charged with Randi's murder. He died in prison in 2006, before he could be convicted.
