Patricia "Patty" Marie Gifford was a woman who disappeared from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1987, Dennis Socher admitted to raping and strangling Gifford. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death. Despite the confession, Gifford's remains have not been found.
