Oncwanique Tribblet was an infant who was murdered by her parents in 1997. They have both been convicted of her murder, although her body has never been found and it is thought to have been destroyed.

Case[]

On December 19, 1997, 16-month-old Oncwanique was strangled and beaten to death by her mother, Joan Tribblet. She was not reported missing for six months after she disappeared, when her grandmother became suspicious and called police.

Upon questioning, both Joan and Oncwanique's father, Everette Johnson, confessed to murdering her and disposing of her body. The two dismembered her, cooking some of her body parts and feeding them to stray dogs and dissolving the rest of her body in battery acid. Some parts of her body that could not be dissolved, including her spine, are thought to be buried.

Both of her parents were found guilty of first-degree murder, with Everette initially facing the death penalty before being sentenced to 100 years in prison. Although no remains have been found, Oncwanique is not listed in any missing persons' databases.
