On July 1, 1991, Norma was last seen at a Greyhound bus station in Yakima. She had planned to catch a bus to Seattle and then catch another bus to Tacoma. She never made it to Seattle or Tacoma, and it is unknown if she ever boarded a bus. She was a registered member of the Federated Tribes of the Colville Reservation.
