Nori Oyakawa Jenkins (born September 4, 1934) was a middle-aged woman who went missing from Topeka State Hospital under mysterious circumstances in 1986.

Case[]

Nori was born in Japan and married her husband Harold while he was stationed in at an Okinawa military camp. The couple had two daughters. She was diagnosed with mental illness and got treatment in Montana.

In 1964, Nori strangled her children with dress belts. Her husband found the bodies when he came home. Nori was charged with two counts of first-degree murder but was found not guilty due to insanity. She can become violent when she does not take her medication. She was committed to Topeka State Hospital for inpatient treatment consequently. She constantly entered in and checked out of psychiatric hospitals and at times she was homeless and sleeping under bridges. She remains missing.

  • Brown or black eyes.
  • A scar on her left eyebrow.
  • She reportedly had no teeth.
