Nikolai Dobryshev (Russian: Николай Добрышев) was a teenage boy who disappeared from June 2, 1964 in Nevinnomyssk, Russia. He is the first murder victim of serial killer Anatoly Slivko, and the only victim whose remains have not been recovered.
Case[]
Few details are available on Nikolai's background. By the time of his disappearance and death, he was a homeless runaway. No images of him are currently available.
Between 1963 and 1985, Slivko, a family man who ran a children's club, tricked 43 boys into unconsciousness, molested them, and took photographic images of the assaults. He killed seven of the boys, the first being Nikolai. Slivko confessed he "accidentally" killed Nikolai after being unable to revive him. He then dismembered Nikolai's body and buried and destroyed the photographic evidence.
After his arrest in December 1985, Slivko confessed everything to the authorities. In early 1986, he led authorities to the bodies of six victims, but he could not remember where he buried Nikolai's. Slivko was convicted on seven counts murders, seven counts of sexual abuse, and seven counts of necrophilia. He was executed by gunshot on September 16, 1989.
