Mikelle Diane Biggs was a young girl who was abducted in 1999. Her latest age progression depicts her at 25 years old.

Case[]

Mikelle was last seen near her home in Mesa, Arizona, on January 2, 1999. She was riding her bicycle when she and her younger sister heard an ice cream truck. They waited for the truck to arrive near Toltec Street and El Moro Avenue at approximately 4:00 P.M. when her sister went to their house to get her coat. When she returned, less than two minutes later, Mikelle was gone. Mikelle's bicycle was found abandoned near the street where she stood. It was lying on its side with its wheel still spinning.

The area Mikelle was last seen in was extensively searched by police, but nothing was found. This included most houses in the area being searched with their owner's consent. Search dogs were brought in but lost their scent after only a few feet, indicating she was possibly pulled into a vehicle. All ice cream vendors in the area were cleared of involvement in Mikelle's case, and investigators are unsure if there were any ice cream trucks in the area that day.

Composite sketches of two possible suspects have been made in Mikelle's case. However, they have not been widely distributed as authorities are unsure if they are involved in her case.

Mikelle's family believe Dee Blalock, a convicted sex offender who lived two blocks away from the Mikelle home at the time of her disappearance, abducted her. His wife claimed he had spent the entire night in their garage, but they were still suspicious. Blalock is serving a fifteen-and-a-half-year sentence in an Arizona prison for charges unrelated to Mikelle's case.

Mikelle's family believe she is deceased, and they held a funeral for her with an empty casket on the fifth anniversary of her disappearance.
