Maria Angelica Andreoli Bravo was a political activist who was detained by Pinochet's secret police in 1974 and has remained missing since. She was reportedly tortured at the Londres 38 detention center, also known as the 38 Compound.

Case[]

On 6 August 1974, Maria was arrested at her home on Bilbao Street by DINA agents, Pinochet's secret police, acting on information provided by an informant, Marcia Merino. The agents arrived in a yellow Chevrolet pickup truck and took her to the Londres 38 precinct, where she was detained alongside other political prisoners. According to fellow detainee Erika Hennings, Maria was interrogated by the guards, who asked her questions about her personal life and work. Hennings testified that while she and other detainees were transferred to the Cuatro Álamos Camp on 27 August 1974, Maria was not among them and was never seen again.
