Magdalena Ciesek was a young woman who went missing from Toronto, Ontario. She wasn't reported missing until November 2003.

Case[]

On the day of her disappearance, Magdalena met with her father for lunch at the intersection of Roncesvalles Avenue and Dundas St. West. She told her father that she was going to meet with her estranged husband at 6 pm later that evening. She dropped off her daughter, who lived with her father, at his parent's home that evening.

Despite being missing since 2000, she was not reported missing until 2003. Her sister, who lives in Poland, had received calls from Magdalena every few days until she disappeared. Between 2000 and 2003, her family hired an investigative agency to help find her, but they were not successful. Magdalena had mentioned moving to the U.S. but did not have any definite plans made. Further border checks did not indicate that she crossed into the U.S.
