Lynette Dawn Culver was a girl who disappeared in 1975. She is possibly a victim of Ted Bundy or another serial killer.
Case[]
Culver was reportedly last seen at school, although certain details differ between sources. Some state she left campus during lunch and others state she was seen boarding a bus. She most likely disappeared involuntarily, based on her relationship with family and her high grades.
Ted Bundy confessed to murdering her and dumping her body in the Snake River, but her remains have never been found. Bundy stated he raped and drowned Culver in a hotel room after kidnapping her. He did provide some convincing details, yet authorities did not fully accept his account. She had disappeared a mere three weeks before he was arrested.
It is also theorized her case could be related to a span of killings in the area including the murder of Patricia Campbell and her friend. The murders took place in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Bundy has been eliminated as a suspect in these murders.
