Kimberly Diane Greene, also known by her married name Medina, was a woman who disappeared in 1996. Her husband, Michael Medina, was convicted of her murder in 2013.
Case[]
Kim married Michael Medina in 1993, when she was 15 and he was 21 years old. In their marriage, he had been arrested twice for abusing her. In 1995, they had broken up, and Kim obtained a restraining order against him; however, they later moved back together. On October 27, she told her father she was leaving Michael, and two days later, she vanished.
In 2006, Michael Medina was convicted of the murder of his infant son Degan, whom he had with his second wife and was sentenced to 48 years in prison. The second wife testified that Michael told him he had killed Kim by burying her alive. In 2011, charges were formally brought against him for killing Kim. He was convicted in 2013.
