Katherine "Kathy" Marie Lowery was a woman who disappeared from her home in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Her husband, Sheldon VanHoute, is the prime suspect in her disappearance. There were traces of blood found in their home, although it has not been confirmed to be Lowery's. In 2000, VanHoute was sentenced to six life sentences for sexually abusing his and Lowery's daughter, but he has never been charged in connection with Lowery's disappearance.
