Karmein Chan was a young girl who was kidnapped from her home in Templestowe, Victoria, Australia during the night of 13 April 1991. Her remains were located in Thomastown, Victoria, Australia on 9 April 1992. She was shot to death multiple times. An unknown serial rapist known as "Mr. Cruel" is the prime suspect in her death.
