Kali Soleil Athukorala is an infant who was abducted by her mother and taken outside of the U.S.
Case[]
Kali was taken by her non-custodial mother to the Dominican Republic to visit family. Kali's mother promised Kali’s father they would return in two months. They did not return. After negation, they agreed to do webcam calls so that Kali and her father could keep in touch. They also agreed that Kali's mom would bring her the the U.S. for a one week visit every three months. Kali's mother broke the agreement, and Kali only saw her father a couple of times. Her mother's lawyer said she would not being showing up to court to settle the case, or bring her daughter back to see her father. The judge granted sole custody to Kali's father, and ordered her mother to return her. She never did, and neither Kali or her mom have been heard from since.
Kali is most likely being hidden by her mother's parents in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Kali's father is actively fighting to bring her back home and back into his custody.
