Jayson Nathaniel Pearce was a baby who was supposedly abducted by his stepfather in 1983.
Case[]
Jayson's mother, Napoleon Pearce, married John David Grooms in January 1983. The family reports that Grooms was abusive. Napoleon was arrested for drunk driving in April and briefly went to jail. When she returned, Grooms and Jason were gone. Grooms had left behind a note that read;
"You are an unfit parent. [Jayson's older brother] is only six years old, and he is lying just like you. If possible, I will see that Jayson doesn't turn out like that. Believe me, Jayson is safe and being well cared for. I wish I could have done the same for [Jayson's brother]."
Grooms was located in Colorado in 1984, and Jayson wasn't with him. He refused to give any information as to where Jayson was.
