Janet Gail Levine March was a woman who disappeared from Nashville, Tennessee. Her husband was convicted of her murder.

Case[]

Janet was a children's book illustrator. Her husband was attorney Perry March. Perry claimed Janet decided to leave him after an argument on August 15, 1996. Janet's friends and family believed this story but eventually realised there was no sign of her whatsoever, and Janet did not appear on her son's birthday on August 27. Her car was found abandoned at an apartment building in September. Perry relocated to Illinois with the children in the same month and moved again to Mexico in 1999.

In December 2004, Perry was charged with his wife's murder. Perry's father testified against him and said he helped Perry disposed of Janet's body. He said at some point they moved the body from where it was first buried and couldn't remember where it was in the end. They were both found guilty in 2006.
