Ilham Benchelh was a woman who disappeared from her home in Siddeburen, the Netherlands, on 10 January 2010.
Case[]
In 2019, Ilham's partner, Kasem, was convicted of her murder and the disposal of her body, receiving a sentence of fifteen years in prison. Blood traces found in multiple locations within their home and the trunk of their car suggested a violent death. Kasem hindered the police investigation by actions such as replacing their old mattress. Additionally, he reported Ilham missing four days after she was last seen. The court noted that Ilham and Kasem were experiencing marital issues and were planning a divorce, which contributed to Kasem's fear of losing custody of their son and their home.
