Haidar "Harry" Mustafa Abushaqra was a man who was last seen at his car dealership, which he owned in Manchester, Connecticut, on December 7, 2011.
Case[]
Harry called his wife at 8:24 PM while at the dealership and said he'd been at a work meeting and would be home by 9 PM so he could take her to the movies, but Harry never arrived home. The next day, Harry's Mercedes was found in his dealership's parking lot. On the day of his disappearance, Harry got into a dispute with some mechanics who were renting a garage from him, as they had not paid their rent and were meeting with Harry that night to discuss it. Before he called his wife, Harry called his brother and asked him to come to the dealership because they were scaring him. The mechanics denied knowing anything about Harry's disappearance, but refused to take polygraph tests. Authorities believe it's possible Harry left the country to escape prosecution, as he and his father had fraud charges pending against them, and his father had already fled to Jordan. Harry left behind six children.
