Ervin "Gotti" Braxton Williams was a young man who left Chocowinity, North Carolina, with his girlfriend Kelly Gaskins on December 26, 2006. They then spent time in Texas. In March 2007, Kelly's friend Ginni Wood traveled to Texas from Chocowinity, North Carolina, to see them over spring break. On March 10, 2007, Virginia called home to explain that they were planning to go to Cancun, Mexico.
Both Gotti and Kelly are wanted by the police. In Gotti's case, it's for failure to appear in court over arson, burglary, assault, cocaine possession, and marijuana possession charges. He was reportedly planning to avoid prosecution by traveling to Mexico.
