Regina "Gina" McCorkle was a woman who disappeared in 1981.
Case[]
Gina lived with her mother and her two-year-old son. Gina's mother came home one day to find Gina's son locked in his bedroom and Gina missing. All Gina's possessions, including her wallet and car, had been left behind. The only thing missing from Gina's room was her nightgown. Her bed was left unmade, and her slippers were left on the bedroom floor, apparently out of character. The screen window in the basement, which was a way in and out of the house, had been kicked out, but it couldn't be determined if it had been done from the inside or the outside.
Investigators determined that Gina called her boyfriend at 9:30 that morning, telling him she would pick him up later to take him to work, but she never did. He was ruled out as a suspect. However, her ex-husband is considered one.
