George Wright Bugher was a man who vanished from Elizabeth, New Jersey, under suspicious circumstances.

George Bugher was last seen at roughly 7 p.m. on July 8th, 1964, by his associates at Hand Hardware Store, which he owned. When he was first reported missing, a cash box from the store containing $600.00 and Bugher's vehicle were also missing, but his wallet was found at the store. The car and the cash box, now empty, were found a few days later in nearby Newark.
