Evon Young, who also used the stage name Yung LT, was a transgender man and rapper who went missing on New Year's Day of 2013. His roommate and four other men were found guilty of his murder, allegedly torturing him before killing him by shooting and setting his body on fire. His body was disposed of in a trash bin and was likely taken to a landfill.
His murder is considered to be gang-related, and his status as a transgender man is not thought to have been relevant in his killing, as none of the men who participated in his murder were aware that Evon was transgender.
