Dulce Maria Alavez (born April 25, 2014) was a young girl who was last seen being abducted in Bridgeton City Park on September 16, 2019. An AMBER Alert was issued shortly afterward.
Case[]
On September 16, 2019, Dulce's mother brought her children to the playground area in Bridgeton City park. While Dulce and her brother ran off to the playground, their mother stayed in the car with a relative. Alavez's brother came back to the car crying, unsure of where his sister had gone.
Suspect[]
Detectives believe Alavez was taken to a red van with a sliding door. The man believed to have done this is said to be light-skinned, Hispanic and 5'6 - 5'8. He has a thin build, facial acne, and no facial hair, wearing orange sneakers, red pants, and a black shirt. A composite was made from a separate description, stating this man was 30-35 years old, had a slender build, and approximately 5'7. The individual described was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball cap.
