Dorothy Mildred "Dotty" Clitheroe is a teenage girl who disappeared from Phoenix, Arizona on September 20, 1973. Her dentals are not available, but her DNA has been uploaded into CODIS.

Case[]

Dotty Clitheroe was walking towards the restroom at Cortez Park at North 35th Avenue and West Dunlap Road at 6:30 PM. She has not been seen or heard from again.

There is a possibility she may have travelled to Portland, Oregon or Houston, Texas. Her case is being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety. As of May 23, 2021, twenty-six unidentified decedents across the United States have been ruled out as her.

  • Brown eyes.
  • Pierced ears.
  • Burn scar on an unspecified forearm; she backed into a hot radiator and the name US Steel was imprinted onto her skin. The letter "U" may have been the only visible sign of the injury by 1973.
