Donna Lee Urban was a young woman who was last seen jumping off the Delaware Memorial Bridge into the Delaware River. A search of the river turned up no sign of her, though she is presumed to be deceased.
Case[]
On February 7th, 1983, at approximately 10:00 pm, Urban stopped her car in the extreme right northbound lane beside the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Officers witnessed Urban exiting her car and jumping off the bridge into the Delaware River below. The officers quickly instigated a rescue unit and searched for her throughout the night, but she never turned up. She has not been seen since.
Although no evidence of suicide was found in her car, past medical records revealed that Urban was clinically depressed and that she had two previous suicide attempts.
