Donna Gail Manson was a young woman who disappeared in 1974. Serial killer Ted Bundy confessed to her murder in 1989, although she was known to have been depressed when she went missing. An unidentified skeleton and clothing similar to hers was found after she disappeared, yet it was lost before a forensic identification could be made.
Case[]
Manson disappeared after planning to attend a concert at the Evergreen State College. Manson was reportedly depressed at the time of her disappearance.
Ted Bundy confessed to killing her and disposing of her body in the Cascade Mountains, although he admitted to cremating her skull at his girlfriend's residence.
She was linked to an unidentified female whose partial remains were located at the base of Mount Rainier in 1978. The clothing worn by the unidentified victim was reportedly similar to Manson's at the time she disappeared. However, there are inconsistencies with the height and estimated date of death of the unidentified victim.
