Donel Jacoby Minor was an infant who was abducted by a man posing as a photographer in 1984.
Case[]
Donel was last seen in his mother's apartment in Inglewood, California on December 20, 1984. That day an unidentified man showed up claiming to have photographs of Donel in his briefcase. As Donel's mother, Deanna, had indeed had her son professionally photographed shortly beforehand she wasn't concerned by this. The man asked for a drink of water once he was inside the apartment and Deanna briefly left to get him one. When she returned both the man and her son where gone. There was no ransom note left behind.
The man who abducted Donel was Caucasian with brown hair and a mustache. He was approximately 6' tall and had a thin build. At the time of Donel's disappearance he was wearing along-sleeved white dress shirt, a dark tie and dark-colored trousers. A composite sketch of the man has been created.

Deanna has passed a polygraph in relation to Donel's case. While several area portrait businesses had sent salespeople door to door offering to make and sell holiday portraits around the time of Donel's abduction none of them could be linked to it.
