Dona Mae Bourgeois Bayerl was a woman who was last seen in Muskego, Wisconsin, on May 6, 1979. She allegedly left her home in the family car after a fight with her husband. The vehicle was returned that night, but Dona was never seen again. She was reported missing by her husband on May 9.
Dona's blood was found in the garage. She was declared legally dead in 1986. Her husband, John Bayerl, was convicted of her murder in June 2019. He was sentenced to life in prison.
