Donald Emerson Curtiss Jr. was a young man who was last seen in Tucson, Arizona on November 8, 1969.
Case[]
On the day of his disappearance, Don and his friend began hiking out into the Catalina Mountains to search for gold. They had planned to return back home the next day.
On November 15, Don's friend came out of the mountains an managed to hitchhike to Tucson. When he came home, his clothes and feet were damaged. When aske what happened, he said that Don and him had gotten lost in a winter storm on top of Mount Lemmon. When Don suffered sever leg cramps, his friend left him, promising to get help. Despite a six day search, Don wasn't found. He is believed to have died due to exposure.
