David Michael "Dave" Bacon was a man who vanished from Watervliet, New York, on the way to his night shift job at Behr-Manning factory, now known as Norton Co. He was supposed to pick up his brother along the way, but never arrived at his brother's house or the factory.

In January 2009, a man was arrested and charged with murder and two counts of witness tampering in Bacon's case. In October of the same year, he plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
