Warde, who had a history of prostitution, disappeared from Seattle, Washington in 1990. Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer, admitted to killing a female possibly named "Darci" or "Dorsey" sometime in the mid to late 1980s, after meeting in Tacoma. It is possible she was a runaway, although this was never confirmed. Detectives do believe Warde was killed by Ridgway.
