On the evening of July 31, 2006, Danielle's father stabbed her mother, Sonia, in the parking lot of an apartment building. Sonia died from her injuries. Leandro then went to Danielle’s family residence and abducted her. A felony warrant for homicide was issued for Leandro the following day.
Leandro may be driving a silver 2004 Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck with 22-inch chrome rims and Texas license plates 9NGH92. He may take Danielle to Del Rio, Texas or to Mexico. Danielle is believed to be in danger.
