Christiane Herzig was a woman who went missing from Jonsdorf, Germany on 7 June 2020.

She was found in late February 2021 in the Czech Republic, close to the German border.

Case[]

Christiane was last seen around 7:30 AM and left in her gray VW Golf. The car was found five days later on a hikers' parking lot near the Czech border.

On 24 February 2021, walkers discovered the remains of a woman shortly after crossing the German-Czech border in the Zittau Mountains. DNA tests confirmed that the remains belong to Christiane.

Characteristics[]

  • Very slim.
  • Pale.
  • Dark blond straight hair, usually tied in a bun or ponytail.
  • Scars on both arms.
