Christian Taylor Ferguson was a boy who went missing in 2003.
His father has been convicted of his murder, but his body has never been found.
Case[]
Christian's father, Dawan Ferguson, called police to report that someone had stolen his car with Christian inside. The vehicle was found later in the day, but Christian remained missing.
Christian was severely mentally and physically disabled and required life-sustaining medication. In the months following his disappearance, his mother, who did not have custody, reported that he had been losing weight and was in poor health. It is now suspected that Dawan Ferguson intentionally neglected his son's medical needs until he passed away. Christian's sister reported seeing Christian unresponsive and not moving before Dawan wrapped him in a blanket and put him in his car. Christian's feeding tube was also found in the Ferguson home, with tool marks indicating that it had been forcibly removed.
Dawan Ferguson was charged with his son's murder in October of 2019. In July 2022, he was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
