Ebrima B. "Chief" Manneh was a journalist who was arrested by the Gambian National Intelligence Agency on 7 July 2006 in Banjul, The Gambia as the result of him republishing a report criticizing then Gambian President Yahya Jammeh. It is believed he was killed sometime during 2008 and is buried behind a local police station.
